Toft Alpaca Breeders Day Sunday 18th March 2012.

 Shirley and I will be hosting  our:

Annual Toft Alpacas Breeders Day.

The Toft Alpaca Breeders day is an informal farm day where established or prospective alpaca breeders  can pop in and see first hand what we have achieved at Toft in the past 14 years.

• All our current Stud males will be on display with examples of their 2011/12 prizewinning progeny in pens for your consideration for the 2012 breeding season. (There will be special offers for early bookings available on the day.)
• You will be able to get hands on with their offspring from 2011 and assess first hand the possibilities of our alpaca genetics for 2012.
• You can also view their mums in the paddocks to complete your assessment if you so wish.
• You can if you bring your diary book on farm or off farm matings for the 2012 season and beyond if you wish. (There will be special offers for early bookings available on the day.)
• You can also view our potential stud males which will be on display for breeders to assess should you wish to purchase your own stud male or or perhaps lease some of our award winning genetics for the 2012 season.
• Shirley and I will be on hand all day to discuss breeding options and answer all your alpaca queries whatver they may be.
• We shall be holding fleece sorting demonstrations and practical workshops both for showing and processing.
• Kerry and her staff from the Toft Alpaca Shop will be available to talk through all aspects of turning alpaca fleece into saleable product.
• We shall also be running farm walks throughout the day where small groups will be guided around our farm to see how we designed and manage our land solely for our alpacas.

The Toft Alpacas Breeders Day is a relaxed, intimate and informative gathering of alpaca breeders new, old and prospective who want to get hands on with Toft Alpacas.

There is no charge for this day:  Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Our Breeders day is also a great opportunity for those alpaca breeders who are attending the Britsh Alpaca Futurity at the National Exhibition centre that same weekend to combine their visit to the Midlands with a  visit to Toft to assess our genetics and visit the farm.
