Quick newsflash on the crias for 2010

It's all happening here at Toft with the alpaca birthing in full swing and the cria coming thick and fast. Daily there are more on farm 'Bambi' moments than you can shake a stick at. This long settled spell of dry weather is doing wonders for the alpacas and the pregnant females are lapping it up. My wonderful Mother in law Myra is virtually living in the birthing paddock through these magical days. The walkers and cyclists are having a wonderful time watching the cria bouncing around the paddocks and the alpaca courses, introductory days, walks and talks are pure joy in this stunning weather. The new born cria are truly impressive and we are getting some very exciting results from our stud males which will make choosing the show team for next year a lot longer process than usual. If you are passing it would be a crime not to drop by and enjoy the public footpaths, walk amongst the alpacas and of course visit the Toft Alpaca On Farm Shop.

If there are any Alapca breeders our there who would like to look at what we are producing here at Toft then don't hesitiate to get in touch. After 13 years of breeding alapca we truly feel as if we are making real progress here at Toft and we don't need much of an excuse to talk alpaca and show off a little. Tea, biscuits and alpaca chat a must.
