Great results for Toft at the Kenilworth
Last Saturday 5th June saw us both at the Kenilworth show on its new home in Stoneleigh. The Kenilworth is truly blessed with great weather. In the ten or so years since we have been attending with the alpacas we can only remember one day in which the rain played the biggest part. The sun was hammering on events on Monday but as usual a great atmosphere was created by organisers and exhibitors alike. Vicki Agar performed admirably as the judge on the day. Our four alpaca entries took a total of three rosettes a first, second and third. Our stunning adult fawn male Agamemon was pipped by a whisker in the championship. All told a great day out. a great showcase for the alpacas. The show itself was more compact but benefited for the cosiness and seemed a lot busier than previous years-long may it continue. Our thanks go to Harry Edwards who organised the show with such patience and dignity and all who helped as stewards.
