NEVER TOO YOUNG TO TALK ALPACA

Dunchurch infants get introduced to Toft alpacas

Today we played host to two groups of under sixes form the Dunchurch Infant school who were on their annual trip to Toft Alpacas. Dunchurch Infant school is in the village less than half a mile from our farm which is a long old journey if you're under three foot tall.

You can hear the excitement approaching down the lane as they get nearer and as always this trips did not dissapoint. All morning was spent walking, touching and talking to the alpacas and of course washing hands, stopping the boys climbing the fences and encouraging the timid to take part. They all talked, asked some great questions, gave some surprising answers, let go of their minders hands, walked the alpacas and had what we hope was a real alpaca adventure and a  memorable morning that will live with them forever.

Everyone at Toft loves the infant school visits, they get an adventure and we get to smile and grin and play Mum & Dad and Teacher as we remember when our children were just above knee height and the world was an empty book waiting to be filled.
